While Arla needs prayer and her doctors need prayer, so does Harold.  They were taking Arla for a CT Scan at 5:15 p.m.  Harold has been with Arla all day and this day will be a long one for Harold.  Pray for strength.  Pray that he may have enough peace to be able to leave Arla and come home at the earliest hour possible.  Pray that the diagnosis of what is causing her to be lethargic will be clear and can be treated successfully.

Do not worry about these matters.  Do not speak about them with negative words.  Instead, think about them and pray about them, believing that God will hear you and respond.  Be specific in what you pray for.  God answers all prayer.  He has answered many concerning Arla, and he will answer many in all our lives.  In all this, we must also remember that the source of all we have is God.  It is human nature to lean on our own strength, but our strength is not perfect… Only God’s strength is perfect.  We must lean only on Him.  The Bible tells us that NOTHING separates us from the love of God… not strokes, not infections, not the inability to speak, not tiredness, not weakness, not fear…..NOTHING.  We serve an AWESOME God who allows us to come before Him with our needs.  Thanks be to God.

**** God does answer prayer.  The CT Scan took no time at all.  By 5:38 p.m., Arla was back in her bed at the Rehab Hospital.  And the promise of a homemade pie was working on luring Harold back to Van Wert.  One step at a time dear Lord… we can do it.
