Arla and Harold spent about four hours at the Van Wert County Fair on Friday. Vancrest transports residents to the fair and Vantage Career Center students who are/were part of the Early Childhood Education program escort the residents around the fairgrounds. Arla missed the fair last year because she was in Lutheran Hospital, but this year, once again, she got to experience the sights and sounds and smells of the fair. Life is good!

Consider it pure joy! 
Thats wondeful. Glad she was able to go. I am sure she enjoyed it. Who wouldn’t? I have many fond memories of going to the fair when I was young. It was something I looked forward to. I always felt Van Wert had the best fair ever. It may not be like it was years ago, but that’s life. Nothing ever stays the same. You can’t take the memories away, as I always say.

So happy Arla and Harold had a date at the fair. I hope she saw many friends to visit with while there. This weekend (Sept. 14, 15, 16) we (Arla & I) will be celebrating our 55th class reunion. We will be thinking about her with memories and lots of love.
