It is official. Arla is now at the Rehab Hospital, located on the same campus as Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. After careful consideration by her doctors and therapists and a lot of hard work and progress from Arla, the team decided she would qualify for the Rehab Hospital. Her family is very comfortable with this placement. We believe it is medically and therapeutically appropriate for Arla. As of 6:30 p.m. tonight, she is officially in rehab.
She is still an hour away from us, but we are comfortable with the care and therapy she will be receiving. While Harold is still tired and worried about EVERYTHING, he is elated that Arla is becoming stronger.
The race is not over. The marathon has just begun. Pray for endurance. Pray for rest. Pray for peace. Pray that her family may look to the Lord and not lean on their own understanding. And when you pray….say a big “Thanks”…not only for Arla but for all the blessings you have received from God this week. Tell those you love that you love them….hug your kids…. smile at your neighbor…. thank God for that aching back while you get out of bed without help. God is good….. all the time!
Awesome! She is a determined woman. We continue to think and pray for Arla daily.
so good to hear, God is very good am continuing to pray for Arla and the family. Gods blessings Connie
